A busy week behind us...

We've had a busy week!  Here are a few pictures...

On a walk at the park - Ivy loves to look at the all the ducks, geese, and two swans.  She says "gooo" for goose, and "duh" for duck.  I think she just goes, "ssss" for swan.

Ivy after she had put her face in the tiny bit of rain water that had collected in her pool.  She was trying to blow bubbles in the water and got the whole front of her dress wet!  She thought it was fun so that is all that matters!

A nice weekend...

We've had a great weekend just doing things around town. Here are some pictures that I have taken this weekend...

Ivy at the park - this bridge bounces a little. You can see that her knees are a little bent, she was trying to make the bridge bounce.

(Notice Ivy's new shoes...She was wearing size 4 shoes. I took her to have her feet measured and she wears a size 5 1/2! Her poor toes were crammed in those little size 4 shoes!)

Ivy got a new ball - it is as big as she is but she LOVES it!!

This is Ivy in her apron...My grandmother made this apron years before I was born. Ivy LOVES it. She goes to the hook where it is hanging and asks to wear it.

Ivy got a new chair that is just her size. The day we got it, she didn't get more than 3 feet from it. She KNOWS this is HER chair!!

Not much going on here...

It's just things as usual around here...we are just doing our normal things.  Here is what our day is like on a "normal" day.

7:30 am Ivy is awake (sometimes I get lucky and she sleeps until 8!!)

By 8:00 am breakfast - blueberry waffles or eggs and milk

Errands - things like grocery store, BJ's, park, library, etc.

12:00 - lunch

1:00 - nap for Ivy

3:00 - Jamie watches the Ellen show while Ivy has a small snack and plays

5:30 or 6:00 dinner

7:45 upstairs for bed

8:00 Ivy in her crib

Here are a few pictures I have taken over the past few days. 

Ivy fell into the bed post and got this huge bruise on her cheek.  :(

Yes, she pulled out the drawer and climbed in behind it.

Strawberries!

We went strawberry picking on Saturday.  We went to Jean's Berry Patch which is only like 3 houses down from us.  It is so nice having strawberries so close.  I've been going there since I was little so we continued the tradition.  :)

I'm really glad I put her in red pants because she sat down right on a strawberry!

Happy Birthday and Happy Mother's Day...

We had a great long weekend at the beach to celebrate Jamie's birthday and Mother's Day.  Here are a few pictures of Ivy on the beach...

A nice weekend...

We were supposed to get some rain this weekend, but I'm not sure we even got a drop.  We planted a garden for the first time at this house.  We have lots of things planted; we could use some rain.  But for now, we'll just have to water it ourselves.  Once things start growing, I'll post some pictures.  

Ivy had a fun weekend.  We just spent some time outside on Saturday, and then today we went and rode bikes.
